Saying that a public from Ipoh received a police summon due to not fastening the back seat safty belt.

 
Do you have the habit of fastening your seat belt?
For safety, everyone should have such a habit.
Now in order not get a police summon, you should immediately develop that habit.

In fact, a few years ago our country already had the seat belt measures. Due to ineffective enforcement of the relevant units, leading to only some people to comply. Now, someone had received the traffic police summon, I would like to take this opportunity to remind all that the traffic police have begun to the law enforcement.

New Year's Taboos

Morning walk to the market to buy vegetables.
On the way get the fragrance smell of kuih kapit.
Oh, Chinese New Year is approaching.

I'm not good in baking New Year's cookies.
So nothing about baking to share with you.
Thinking about it, suddenly I have something to share.
That is about New Year's taboos.
These are prohibited or forbidden by the old people.

* New Year can not quarrel or beat children, otherwise will have a lot of restless throughout the 
   year
* Avoid sweeping or garbage, so as not to sweep away the wealth at home
* Never eat porridge on the first day, so as to avoid to be poor for the year
* New Year avoid killing poultry, afraid that will lead to fatal disaster
* New Year never debt or debt collection, or the whole year will be very bad luck
* Avoid having a nap, or else the whole year will be very lazy
* Avoid breaking things
* Do not let people to take things from your pocket, or else you will lost some money through out 
   the whole year
* Do not urge people to get up on the first day of New Year, this will let the other party was urged 
   to do things throughout the year

Do you believe all these taboos? Hahaha.......

Yong Teng Cafe

Recommended by  friends, if we are going to have breakfast in Tanah Rata, we can go to a cafe run by a pair of deaf couples. It is said that their pancakes are very popular.This cafe is called Yong Teng Cafe. It also known as the pancake cafe because the tourists really love their unique pancakes with the fruit toppings, such as strawberry and banana! It is located in one the food stalls of the Majlis Daerah Stall in Tanah Rata.
Open: 7am to 5pm

This cafe is not easy to find. We made some laps, asking people concerning the location. Finally we manage to reach there. In order to let other people to find it easily, now let me give you some information. In fact, this cafe is not in a shop lot. It's just a small stall by the roadside, as we often see the kind of Malay stall.

  
This stall is near Maybank. Really not easy to be found. You can park your car near Maybank and then get off to see a big ditch. The cafe is by the big ditch. If driving in the main streets of  Tanah Rata, you can carefully look for the following building ( see picture below ) as the stall is right behind the building.

  
This pair of deaf couples work together daily. The male is responsible for taking down the order and serving the food while his wife is responsible for the cooking. Both their attitude towards customers are friendly and polite. This let the customers to have a very good and unforgotable impression.

  
Oh, how the custromers to order the food & drink? Don't worry. They prepared a pen and paper for you to order. Just look at the photos and names on the menu, select what you want and write down to order. Both the deaf couples can read your order.

They serve local food like nasi lemak and fried mee, Western food, hamburgers, hot dogs and so on. But of course the unique food are the fruit pancakes.

  
For me, the nasi lemak coupled with the special sambal sauce taste quite satisfactory. Let us eat with relish. As for those fruit pancakes, they did not let us down. Really want to thank my friend's recommendation.

Jackfruit Seeds

Many people buy a jackfruit home, after eating the pulp, they just throw away the remaining including the seeds.Very wasteful to say that. In fact, jackfruit seeds can be eaten. And it is said that it is rich in protein, potassium, calcium and iron. Actually it's high nutritional.

My family also ate jackfruit yesterday. After eaten the flesh, I cleaned the seeds and put them into the pot. Poured in the right amount of water and add a little of salt. Bring the water and seeds to a boil, then reduce to rolling simmer for 20-30 minutes until the seeds can be easily pierced by a fork. Drain the pot and let the seeds to cool and dry. Peel off the outer white layer and enjoy eating it. Very good, very fragrant, like eating chestnut.

In fact, the seeds of jackfruit can also be roasted in the oven to eat.Or wrapped in flour and fried in cooking oil. Crisp and delicious.
 
In addition the seeds of jackfruit can also be stewed to cook. Taste very delicious and nutritious.Is a good health supplement food. 

Yesterday I cleaned up the jackfruit seeds. Add water to the pot and boil them. The shell of the seeds is then stripped. Then the seeds without shell are cut into small pieces to make soup. Placed these small pieces of jackfruit seeds into the chicken soup. Boil the soup and simmer for two or three hours. Then add a little salt to the soup. It taste very delicious.

Mobile phones are very useful for modern inventions. However, we must be vigilant. Mobile phones can also be deadly weapons. Do not use your phone when it is connected to a power source. We all have this knowledge, but still do so as to answer the phone. Why??????
 
According to the Internet as well as journalists, we are sure there was such an incident happened.But we are not sure whether it is really risky to answer the call when it is charging. That incident happened just because the phone is on charging? Who knows !!!
 
Generally speaking mobile phone charger is less than twelve volts. So despite the phone or charger leakage, the chance of electrocution is almost zero. But despite the small probability (Almost equal to zero, but not equal to zero), we better avoid talking on the phone while charging. ＪＵＳＴ IN CASE !!!

Displaying the National flag & the State flag

In August,we are ready to celebrate the arrival of the National Day.
Flying the flag to celebrate National Day activities will be from August 17 to September 16.
This is also the provisions of the Government for a period of one month of National Day activities.
We can see flags flying all over the country espeacially in schools.But there are many people do not know how to display the National flag and the State flag.

There is no law about the positioning of the National and State flags.It is a custom,referring to protocol. Government observe this protocol. So, if you observe the way that schools displaying the flags,that should be the ''proper'' way to display.  Most public wouldn't care to the details of protocol but its given a very important attention by the government because its very much about its sovereignty.    

Last month during the one month of National Day activities ,I observed many buildings and schools concerning how they displayed the flags. I noticed what they called the "proper" way is as follow: If you stand facing the front of the building, the National flag should be displayed on the left side while the State flag on the right. 

My information here is more of a guideline.Just like how the pictures of Agung, Sultan or Head of State, PM & CM is displayed. Which picture to display on which side & what level.If you go to different banks,you will noticed that they displayed the pictures differently as compared to government offices. Haha,as such if you don't follow this guideline,no one can send you to the jail!
