How to register an TNB online account?

The purpose I register an online account with TNB is because you can check your account information, download the latest 6 months bill, trace the electricity consumption and payment record for the latest 6 months.

1. Go to https://e-services.tnb.com.my/eservices

2. Click Register now, select IC Number and fill in all the field required, then click submit button.

After you have successfully registered, log in and you will have the overview of your TNB account details.

Click "Print" to download your e-statement, it's in PDF format and you can save the file accordingly.

*If you want to save your file in monthly basis, please remember to log in every month or better not later than 5months because the record in the system will display the bill for the latest few months only.

I pay my TNB bill via Maybank2u. It's very easy as I have saved TNB in my favourite payee list.

JYT Dim Sum again

I grab my sis along this time to try the dim sum again at JYT. Again, I would like to give a thumbs up for their sweet potatoes pastry. It makes me wanted to visit them again to try out others.

If you want to see the pictures & menu of my last visit, check it out from my last post ---> JYT Dim Sum

Ho Ho Food station at Rawang

We had our dinner at Ho Ho Food station Rawang (好好美食站) yesterday night, recommended by friend.

Went there by Latar highway, the restaurant is just located at the shop lots opposite Tesco Rawang. The boss directed us to go upstairs because no more table available downstairs.

Please expect some waiting time for the food if there are many customers.

Here's the menu of Ho Ho food station. Price is reasonable if look at the food portion.
There are quite many choices of chicken chop, depending which flavor you like. For first timer, we ordered the famous and recommended salted egg cream butter chicken chop. Another 2 sets were cheese chicken chop and japanese style fish & chips.

Here we go, the famous salted egg cream butter chicken chop. My suggestion, please have it while it is still hot/warm as it will taste better. I agree that the sauce is very appetizing but nothing special about the chicken chop itself. In fact, we just can't stop to eat fries as well with this delicious sauce until the last dip.

Portion wise, I think you can see from the photo that the side dishes are not much, for guys may not enough. That's what you pay for. If you need some carbs, you can order fried rice or noodles to share with others.

Tremella (snow fungus) longan red dates dessert

Simple and fast dessert recipe using Thermomix :) We had it when it is still warm, however some people prefer to put in refrigerator first for maybe about 30min-1 hour to enjoy it in cooling sensation. If you do so, please make sure you let the boiled dessert to cool down to room temp first before you put in the fridge (To protect your fridge)

Ingredients A:
25g Tremella (snow fungus)
10-15pcs Red dates
Armeniacae Semen Amarum (optional) or replace with 10-15pcs gingo
1200g water

Ingredients B:
10-15pcs Dried longan
40g rock sugar (subject to individual preference for the sweetness)

Steps:
1. Wash and soak the tremella for about 1hour, and then cut into smaller pieces
2. Put ingredients A into TM bowl, MC / 100c / 15min / Reserve, spoon stir
3. Add ingredients B into TM bowl, MC / 100c / 30min / Reserve, spoon stir

Remark: The tremella is still crunchy after cooked. Longer cooking time is needed if you want the texture to be more silky.

6 Simple Steps - Crispy Whole Roasted Chicken in Fotile Oven

This is my first attempt for whole roasted chicken. (Kampung chicken). I'm gonna share the recipe here cause it's simple & delicious! Crispy skin + juicy meat with some herbs aroma, I'm so satisfied with the result and inspired to try some other things with my oven.

Ingredients A:
1 Whole chicken (Remove giblets from the cavity)
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper

Ingredients B: (Optional, type of ingredients at your choice)
Sliced Lemon
Thyme, sage & rosemary (Or herbs that you like)
Peeled garlic
Small onion

Steps:
1. If you rinse the chicken, remember to pat dry with kitchen towel. If you don't, please also do so. And I suggest to put the chicken at the room temperature for 30min while you preparing the ingredients. (If you are taking out from the fridge)

2. Rub over the skin with olive oil.
3. Season with salt and pepper. (inside & out)
4. Put ingredients B inside the cavity (Optional)
5. Place the chicken with breast side up on the pan and then pre-heat the oven at 210c
6. Put the chicken into the oven and roast for 15mins.
7. After 15mins, change the temperature to 190-195, and roast for another 50mins - 1 hour.

For my oven - Fotile, I place the chicken at the lowest level so that the skin won't be overcooked. However, I think it is subject to individual's oven, as I saw some other recipe showed to place the chicken in the middle rack.

Enjoy! =)

DIY Carousel Happy Garden

My sis saw few of her friends bought the DIY mini house, she also follow the trend and bought herself mini carousel happy garden. She told me she has something to fill up her free time.

When I first saw the box opened with all the tiny tiny materials, omg, everything you need to DIY, even the small gift box with the ribbon you also need to tie it by yourself. By doing this, you will be able to know whether your eye sight is good or bad, and you have to be patient.

I know I'm bad but I just cant stop myself asking her, "are you sure to make these few ting things stick together and become a chair or something?", eventually she made it. Bravo!

Instruction booklet will be given and I would suggest to DIY in a bright environment. Need not rush, take your time and enjoy.

After this I'm sure there will be the 2nd DIY coming soon. What will be the next challenge? :)

30 mins. oven grilled chicken drumsticks

This will be my first sharing of food recipe, I'm actually feel shy to share because I'm still a beginner. However my hubby encourage me to share if the food taste good. Here's the oven grilled chicken that I attempt to make in simple & fast way. Surprisingly both of us like it.

Ingredient A:

1 1/2 tea spoon of salt (You can put lesser if too salty for you)
7 pieces of chicken drumsticks

Ingredient B: (Amount as you like, adequate will do)

Black Pepper (Powder)
Soya Sauce
Olive Oil

Steps:
1. If you rinse the drumsticks, remember to pat dry with kitchen towel in advance.
2. Season evenly with salt.
3. Mix ingredients B and apply evenly with pastry brush.
4. Put the aluminum foil on the baking pan and place the drumsticks on it.
5. Pre-heat the oven at 185 and grill for 30-35mins or until the skin has turn to golden brown, bottom 2nd level (subject to individual's oven)

Everything done in 45 mins :) (I prepare the chicken without marinating over the night, individual preference, maybe it will taste differently? will try it out next time)

Hubby and I felt satisfied with the result. Next round I will add garlic powder to marinate in a longer hour, and see how it taste. :)

Cheers

Hungry Hog

This place is not only college student's favourite, it's also family's favourite place. I mention college student because every time I visit this place, at least 30-40% of the customers are college students. If you are meat eater, consider this restaurant.

Their food and taste are quite consistent, that's why I have already forgot how many times I've been there for the siew yuk, burger, bacon, sausages...yum yummy...

The seats are limited because some of the customers already made reservation earlier. (Most of the time those who call for reservation, they are coming in a group - 6-10people, some in small group like 2-3 because they already know they may not able to get a table if walk in) Unless you do what I did last weekend by arriving there at 6pm. :P

Therefore, it is better to give them a call for reservation

Contact Number: 012-2250877
Address: 61, Jalan SS 15/4B, Subang Jaya, Selangor. (near DirectD)
Opening Hour:
Tue-Thurs: 11-3pm, 6-10pm
Fri-Sun: 11am-11pm

Siew Yuk as appetizer. After the first piece, in a second I will continue with the 2nd, 3rd...ahhh...until I forgot I have a main course later...
Remember to dip the sauce, the spiciness suits very well with the siew yuk

3 Little Pigs burger + 2 side dishes of your choice + add on fried egg

It is a good price at RM 15.90 for this portion, what are you waiting for?

Mushroom & Cream Spaghetti

The portion for this time is so big! I'm not sure if it's because I'm the early bird? Anyway, the spaghetti is nicely cooked, and I can smell the herbs from my mouth after the first bite. Burp....

Here's the menu (As per Aug 2015 version, subject to change)
