Big Red Strawberry Farm

Big Red Strawberry Farm is a must visit for all visitors to Cameron Highlands. It is more than just a farm, it's a destination on its own! It offers a one-stop garden and farm centre to relax and unwind.

  

Big Red Strawberry Farm is not far from the Brinchang town. It is right beside the Cactus Valley. If you live in Brinchang, just ask the hotel receptionist and they will guide you on how to get there.There are 200 car park lot available, so do not be worried about that you may go around looking for parking place.



This strawberry farm covers an area about 10 acres. It is the largest and best strawberry garden in Cameron Highlands. It is a fully covered farm, and so it's an ideal place to visit come rain or shine. It opens daily from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Admission is free!The farm also grows a variety of organic vegetables. All the vegetables are hydroponically grown.In addition to tourists other than visiting, extensive display of house plants for sale.





Now Cameron Highlands is very popular in the activity pick your own strawberries. Big Red Strawberry Farm also offers such activities.When picking strawberries,we use the supplied scissors to cut the strawberry stem. Stems should be left on to ensure maximum shelf life of the strawberries.Participate in this activity is not cheap. Only 2 people to a basket and strictly no children below 10 years old.
Pick only the ripe strawberries, minimum half a kilogram and the charge is RM25.





The Big Red Café serving lots of strawberry based food & drinks. So if you are tired, try to stop for a little rest. Have a healthy snack and drinks at the cafe to enjoy yourself.

Cactus Valley

Cactus Valley is one of the biggest and most popular tourist destination located at the cool mountains of Brinchang, Cameron Highlands. In our two days one night trip itinerary,of course we won't miss it. 

Walking distance from Brinchang town to Cactus Valley is only about 5 minutes. This garden is open from 8 am to 6 pm. Admission is RM5 for adult and RM3 for children.



Cactus Valley boast of having one of the most variety of cactus plants, some as old as 80 years.
Hydroponics method of cultivating crops such as tomatoes, strawberry and others ( even apples ) are being practiced. 








 
Cactus Valley also have the most comprehensive variety of plants and foliage including roses,
birds of paradise, calla lily, coleus, clivia, lantern flowers, camellia, azaleas, purple orchid peony, hibiscus, high heels flowers and many other unknown flowers. They are really beautiful.
























 
Cactus, fresh strawberry, potted plants, souvenir items are available for sale at Cactus Valley.







 
My visit to Cactus Valley can be consider as one of the most wonderful experience in my life.
