Experience with Car Air-Cond

I have a very special encounter with my car air-cond over the weekend. The story goes like this.
On 26th March 2016, I have bought a few tickets to watch Disney on Ice at Penang SPICE Arena. I invited my brother from hometown at Perlis to come along. I have purposely arranged my work to hometown so I could drive him to Penang. And that day, is the day when I realized something is wrong with my car's air-condition. Only hot air was out and the trip from hometown to Penang was very challenging! (With the hot weather nowadays.)

When we reached Penang, I have decided to send my car for a check-up. I sent my car to the nearest car air-cond repair centre and they found out that the cooling coil for the air-cond has malfunctioned and broken down.

Look how dirty it is!
Now, here's the part which I am superbly amazed by the repairman. Before the boss hand over the car to me, he was about to explain what happened to my car. And then, he took out his Ipad and show me videos of what he had done and a few process of his repair work. *mind blown*
I asked his permission and recorded the video while it was playing. Here's a screen shot of it.

I asked him how did he come out with this idea of recording part of the process? He said it helps them to assure the customers and it is easier while telling the customers what they did. I find it very helpful and very pro of them to do that. On top of that, the repairman is very kind and helpful to help me repair some other parts of the car as well, examples some loose caps and panels. Very thoughtful of them.

For this time of repair, I spent RM 370 in total to change the whole cooling coil (RM 240) + air-cond oil (RM 35) + service charges (RM 95). The cooling coil has a warranty of one year and asked me to return if the air-cond is not cooling enough. Well, so far so good!

I don't have a chance to compare prices with other repair centre but I am so glad and appreciated their services very much. Can try out their services if you needed. Good things are meant to be shared! Cheers! :)
